The 1208 pairs an open end with a 12-point box end in 1/4-inch, forged from alloy steel and polished across the whole body. The 12-point box engages a fastener every 30 degrees, which matters when the swing arc is short.
It works on small clamps, panel and trim fasteners, appliance hardware, and terminal blocks. The polished surface wipes clean of oil and grease rather than holding it in the grain.
Wright Tool has forged hand tools in Barberton, Ohio since 1927, using no foreign blanks and only U.S. steel.
