The S16TCR is a 16-inch trash crash from the S Family, built thin with a fast attack and a deliberately curtailed decay so the accent punches and then clears out.
It is used for stops, hits, and quick punctuation in rock and worship playing, and layers over a larger crash when you want the same hit with more grit.
The Avedis Zildjian Company has made cymbals since 1623 and manufactures them at its factory in Norwell, Massachusetts; its drumsticks are turned at the company’s Newport, Maine plant.
