Backwards is Lib Tech’s men’s freestyle-leaning ski, and the name points at the intent: it is built to be ridden in both directions rather than only forwards. That means a shape closer to symmetrical than a conventional directional ski.
Skiing switch is a park habit but it also matters on natural features, and a ski with a tail shaped like its nose lands and rides away backwards without catching. The same symmetry makes it less single-minded than a directional ski when simply going fast in a straight line.
