This is a socket, Wright Tool 69102, in 6-point, 3/4-inch drive. Wright hot-forges its wrenches and drive tools from alloy steel at its own Ohio plant rather than buying forgings in, and the broaching is cut to hold on the flats of the fastener rather than the corners.
Drops onto a ratchet or breaker bar for fastener work where a wrench cannot get a full swing.
Wright Tool has hot-forged hand tools in Barberton, Ohio since 1927, and publishes a per-SKU disclosure for the small share of its line that is not US-made.
