This is a flex handle, Wright Tool 2435, in 1/4-inch drive, 1/4 inch, flex grip. Wright hot-forges its tools from alloy steel at its own Ohio plant rather than buying forgings in, and the working faces are cut to bear on the flats of the fastener rather than the corners.
Breaking a fastener loose where a ratchet head would be at risk, then swinging it in an arc a fixed bar cannot.
Wright Tool has hot-forged hand tools in Barberton, Ohio since 1927, and publishes a per-SKU disclosure for the small share of its line that is not US-made.
