The Klein J2000-48 is an 8-inch Journeyman diagonal cutting plier with an angled head. It is forged from custom U.S.-made tool steel, fitted with induction-hardened cutting knives, and hot-riveted for a wobble-free joint. It is made in the USA.
The plier is rated to cut ACSR cable, screws, nails, and most hardened wire. The high-leverage design places the rivet closer to the cutting edge for 36% more cutting power, and the short, beveled jaws permit close cutting flush to the work. The hot-riveted joint is set so the handles track smoothly without play.
The angled head lets an electrician work inside panel boxes, outlet boxes, and tight corners where a straight-head plier cannot reach — useful on residential and commercial rough wiring and on trim-out.
Klein Tools manufactures the J2000-48 in the USA from U.S.-made tool steel.
