This is the Green Toys Chef Set — a pretend-play cooking kit with a pot and lid, a frying pan, a strainer, and a set of utensils sized for a kid’s play kitchen. The pieces are built to look and handle like actual kitchen cookware at child scale, so pretend-cooking play feels real: ingredients go in the pot, the lid goes on, and the strainer drains imaginary pasta into the pan.
All pieces are dishwasher-safe — critical because kids will inevitably use them with real water, real crumbs, and real snacks at some point. Green Toys is made in California from 100% recycled milk jugs and other food-grade HDPE plastic. The company was founded in Mill Valley in 2007 on the idea that kids’ toys could be manufactured domestically from recycled American material — no BPA, no PVC, no phthalates, no external coatings.
