This is Fiesta’s Bistro Coupe Large Bowl in Peony — 68 ounces in the muted rose-pink Peony glaze. The Bistro Coupe large is Fiesta’s family-style serving bowl: wide, low-sided, rimless, with enough volume to hold a full pound of cooked pasta, a large salad for four to six, or a big portion of rice or grain to pass around the table.
It’s the centerpiece bowl that comes out when the meal is served family-style rather than plated in the kitchen. Peony is Fiesta’s softer pink — it reads dusty rose rather than bright, so the bowl anchors a table without fighting the food. Dishwasher, microwave, and oven-safe to 500°F, which means it can go from oven to table without a swap.
Fiesta has been making this dinnerware at its factory in Newell, West Virginia since 1936 — one of the longest-running domestic pottery operations in the country. Every piece is cast, fired, and glazed at that Newell plant, which is why the colors stay consistent from one collection to the next.
