This is Fiesta’s Stackable Mug in Poppy — 16 ounces in the warm orange-red Poppy glaze. Poppy sits between Scarlet (pure red) and Tangerine (pure orange) in the Fiesta lineup: warmer than red, not quite orange. The Stackable is Fiesta’s larger mug, shaped to nest vertically in the cabinet so a set of them takes up less shelf height than ordinary mugs.
It’s the morning mug for one-big-cup drinkers. Poppy is a high-saturation color that reads well against white kitchen walls and cool-tone counters — it’s one of the Fiesta colors that looks like a deliberate accent rather than a neutral. Dishwasher, microwave, and oven-safe to 500°F.
Fiesta has been making this dinnerware at its factory in Newell, West Virginia since 1936 — one of the longest-running domestic pottery operations in the country. Every piece is cast, fired, and glazed at that Newell plant, which is why the colors stay consistent from one collection to the next.
