This is Fiesta’s 11-inch Egg Tray in Lapis — a round ceramic platter with twelve evenly-spaced recessed wells sized to hold half-egg deviled eggs without rolling, in the deep cobalt-navy Lapis glaze. Eleven inches is the standard egg-platter diameter and handles a full dozen without crowding.
It’s the piece that comes out for Easter, holiday appetizer spreads, potlucks, and summer deviled-egg season. The recessed wells keep each egg seated flat, which means a saucier filling doesn’t drip onto the platter edge. Lapis gives the tray visual weight — deviled eggs pop against the dark blue glaze, which makes the platter look deliberate rather than plain. Dishwasher, microwave, and oven-safe to 500°F.
Fiesta has been making this dinnerware at its factory in Newell, West Virginia since 1936 — one of the longest-running domestic pottery operations in the country. Every piece is cast, fired, and glazed at that Newell plant, which is why the colors stay consistent from one collection to the next.
