This is Fiesta’s Medium Oval Serving Platter in Poppy — an 11 5/8-inch oval in the warm orange-red Poppy glaze. The oval shape is sized for items that don’t fit a round platter cleanly: a whole roasted chicken, a side of salmon, a row of steaks, or a line-up of appetizers along the length of the table.
It’s the platter that comes out for Sunday dinners and holiday spreads — the size and shape read as serving-table-intentional rather than borrowed-from-the-kitchen.
