The Lodge Cast Iron Dutch Oven is a 7-quart cast iron cooking vessel with two opposing loop handles and a tight-fitting cast iron lid. The 7-quart capacity is large enough for whole-bird roasting, party-size pulled pork shoulder, large-batch chili and stew, and the kind of family-feast cooking the smaller 5-quart double dutch oven can’t handle.
Use it for whole-bird braising, large-batch sourdough boules, party-size pulled pork shoulder, big-pot chili and stew for a crowd, slow-cooked beans for a Sunday supper, family-feast braised short ribs, and any large-format dutch oven application. The opposing loop handles let two hands lift safely when the pot is full of stew.
Lodge has been casting iron cookware in South Pittsburg, Tennessee since 1896 — over 125 years of American foundry-making. Every Lodge piece is pre-seasoned with vegetable oil and arrives ready to cook out of the box.
