The Heat-Zorb wall is filled with a phase-change material that captures heat as it transitions from solid to liquid (around drinking temperature) and then releases that stored heat back into the coffee as it would otherwise cool down. The result: pour boiling coffee, wait three minutes, and drink it for the next hour and a half at the same warm-not-scalding temperature.
This is the office mug for people who pour a cup at 9 AM and discover it’s stone cold at 11. It’s also the work-from-home mug for the reheat-it-three-times crowd. Hand-wash only and not microwave-safe (the phase-change material doesn’t like being re-melted by microwaves).
BurnOut manufactures the mugs in the United States with the Heat-Zorb material engineered specifically for coffee-temperature thermal regulation.
