Drop-forged C1080 American high-carbon steel with knurled jaws and integrated side cutter. The 8-inch frame is the all-around size for long-nose work — plenty of reach without losing control. Laser-heat-treated cutting edge handles soft and medium-hard wire; the nose itself bends, twists, and grips smaller fasteners.
The household and electrician’s pocket plier. Used for wire pulling and stripping, small fastener gripping in tight spaces, jewelry repair, and small-engine work. Pairs with the Channellock 526 6-inch for finer work and 369 9-inch lineman for heavier duty.
Channellock has been forging pliers in Meadville, Pennsylvania since 1886.
