The Ontario Rat-7 model 8668 is a 7-inch fixed-blade survival and tactical knife with 1095 carbon steel blade, full-tang construction, and tan Micarta handle. 1095 carbon steel is the traditional American survival-knife steel — easier to sharpen in the field than stainless, holds an edge longer through hard use, takes a black patina over time as carbon steel does.
Built for survival training, bushcraft, hunting field-dressing, and tactical use. Tan Micarta handle improves wet-hand grip versus G10 or rubber.
