This is Aero Tech Designs’ Women’s USA Classic Cycling Short in black, an 8-panel compression spandex short with a women’s-specific padded chamois. The panel construction follows the leg through the pedal stroke and the elastic leg openings hold without pinching.
It covers spin classes, rail-trail miles, commutes, and weekend road rides — the everyday riding that makes up most saddle time. The chamois cushions sit bones at an entry price that lets a rider keep a second pair in the drawer.
Aero Tech Designs has designed and sewn cycling apparel at its factory in Coraopolis, Pennsylvania, outside Pittsburgh, since the 1980s, with one of the widest size ranges in cycling.
