This is a GrillGrate built for indoor ovens and outdoor pizza ovens. It goes in the way a pizza stone does, and turns that heat into a searing surface with raised aluminum rails.
A pizza oven hits temperatures a grill never will, and most of the year it sits idle between pizza nights. This gives it a second job — steaks, chops, vegetables, with real sear marks. It works the same in a conventional indoor oven when the weather rules out the patio.
GrillGrate has manufactured its grates in Cartersville, Georgia since 2007, and the panels are hard-anodized so they will not rust.
