This is one GrillGrate Gap Panel measuring 24 inches deep by 2.33 inches wide, matched to the 24-inch-deep GrillGrate sets. It interlocks alongside a full set to close the remaining strip.
On a deep grill the uncovered gap is a real problem — it is a lane where fat drips straight onto the fire and small food falls through. This panel fills it so the surface behaves the same all the way across. No GrateTool included; it is an add-on.
GrillGrate has manufactured its grates in Cartersville, Georgia since 2007, and the panels are hard-anodized so they will not rust.
