Infrared heating elements are consumable. They run hot, they age, and eventually one stops putting out heat. On a cheap heater that is the end of the appliance. On an Infratech, you swap the element and the fixture goes back to work.
This is a genuine Infratech element, matched to the fixture wattage and voltage it was designed for. Using the correct factory element matters: a mismatched one will either underperform or cook the housing it sits in.
Infratech manufactures its elements in Gardena, California, in the same plant as the heaters.
