The Anchor Hocking Fire-King Casserole is a 2-quart tempered glass baking dish with a matching glass lid, part of the brand heritage Fire-King line. The tempered soda-lime glass handles oven heat and stands up to repeated baking, while the lid lets you cover leftovers and store them in the same dish.
It is sized for a family casserole, baked pasta, a vegetable side, or a cobbler, and it goes straight from the oven to the table and then to the fridge without transferring food. The clear glass shows browning and bubbling as it bakes.
Anchor Hocking has pressed and fire-polished glass at its Lancaster, Ohio plant since 1905, one of the last major American glassware manufacturers, known for durable tempered kitchen glass.
