The Benchmade Adira in the serrated configuration puts a CPM MagnaCut blade with a serrated edge on the same water-ready folder. The serrations bite through wet rope, netting, seatbelt-style webbing, and fishing line faster than a plain edge, which makes it a strong rescue and boat knife.
It opens one-handed with a glove-friendly thumb hole, locks solid, and the corrosion-resistant steel shrugs off saltwater. The textured handle keeps a secure grip when wet or gloved.
Benchmade has built knives at its Oregon City, Oregon factory since 1996, assembling every blade in the USA, and is known for premium steels, precise manufacturing, and its free LifeSharp lifetime sharpening service.
