Mayhew Tools has forged American punches, chisels, and pry bars since 1856 — the same kind of tools that built the industrial United States. Drop-forged high-carbon steel, knurled-grip bodies that don’t twist in the hand during strike work, and the kind of hardness profile that takes hammer blows day after day without mushrooming.
The 67003 Brass Drift Punch Set is a 5-piece set of solid-brass punches — for driving hardened pins, bearings, and races without marring the mating surface or striking sparks in hazardous environments. Brass is soft enough to deform on impact rather than gouging the part you’re driving, and the set covers 1/8 through 1/2 inch diameters.
Mayhew forges its punches, chisels, drift punches, and pry bars at Shelburne Falls, Massachusetts — one of the oldest continuously operating American hand-tool forges. The Made-in-USA line is stamped domestically, heat-treated in-house, and covered by Mayhew’s lifetime warranty against defects.
