All-Clad is the bonded stainless cookware that American home and restaurant kitchens have relied on for more than 50 years — a fully encapsulated aluminum or copper core bonded between layers of stainless steel, so heat spreads evenly to the edges of the pan and food doesn’t scorch in the center. The riveted handles stay cool enough to grip through an oven-safe bake.
The 8-Quart D3 Stockpot with Lid is the stock-and-pasta size — large enough for a full batch of chicken stock, a pound and a half of pasta in proper water volume, or a big chili for a family gathering. The bonded construction extends up the walls, not just the bottom, so stocks simmer evenly without hotspot scorching. Glass lid seals to let steam through but keep water from boiling over.
All-Clad manufactures its bonded cookware in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. The company has built its stainless cookware in the same Pittsburgh-area plant since 1971 and still operates its own rolling mill and bonding line — every D3 and D5 piece is bonded, stamped, polished, and assembled domestically.
