The AeroPress Clear XL is the large-capacity, transparent version of the AeroPress brewer, molded from BPA-free Tritan. It uses the same air-pressure brewing method as the original — steep, then press through a paper micro-filter — but the bigger chamber lets you brew up to three cups or a larger single mug at once.
It handles espresso-style concentrate, a full pot-sized batch, or cold brew, so it works when you are making coffee for more than one. The clear body shows the brew and level, and it breaks down and rinses clean quickly for counter, travel, or camp use.
AeroPress was invented by Alan Adler in Palo Alto, California, and the company manufactures the Clear XL in the United States. It is known for a simple manual brewer that earned a global following and its own world championship.
