Pure beeswax with nothing cut into it, which changes how the candle behaves: beeswax burns slower and hotter than paraffin, drips far less, and carries the faint honey smell of the wax itself. There is no dye and no added fragrance.
These burn roughly four hours each. Buying by the case is how they get used – a row down a table, or one in each room that wants a bit of light in the evening.
Bee Hive Candles has hand-poured its candles in a workshop the family built in the Mt. Baker foothills at Maple Falls, Washington since 2006, using beeswax gathered in the United States.
