The Benchmade Adira is a folding knife designed for water — fishing, kayaking, and wet outdoor work — with a blade ground from CPM MagnaCut, a modern steel chosen for its rust resistance and edge retention. The plain-edge blade handles cutting line, bait, cordage, and everyday tasks.
It opens one-handed with a glove-friendly thumb hole and locks solid, and the textured handle keeps grip when wet. Purpose-built details mark it as a water knife rather than a repurposed EDC folder.
Benchmade has built knives at its Oregon City, Oregon factory since 1996, assembling every blade in the USA, and is known for premium steels, precise manufacturing, and its free LifeSharp lifetime sharpening service.
