The Cadet T522-W is the proven mechanical double-pole wall thermostat for controlling line-voltage electric heaters — the right thermostat for Cadet Com-Pak CS202 (no-thermostat version) installations and F Series baseboard heaters where the integrated BTF2W thermostat isn’t preferred. Mechanical thermostats deliver the long-term reliability advantage of having no electronic components to fail — pure mechanical sensing and contact switching.

22-amp double-pole switching rating handles the full residential baseboard heater circuit ampacity. Standard single-gang wall box installation, simple line/load wiring, and the classic dial-style setpoint adjustment. White finish to match standard residential trim and switch plates.

Cadet has manufactured residential electric heating equipment in Vancouver, Washington since 1957 — the last major American-owned residential electric heater manufacturer. Replaces older Cadet, Honeywell, and Stelpro line-voltage mechanical thermostats. Hard-wired installation by qualified electrician required.
