CaribSea Arag-Alive Bimini Pink Special Grade Reef Sand – 20 lb is a live aragonite reef sand pre-seeded with beneficial bacteria to speed cycling. The grain size and natural coloration are chosen for aquariums, with no paints, dyes, or coatings that can leach into the water.
Pour it in to build a bed a couple of inches deep, then add water and let the tank clear. It supports rooted plants and burrowing fish in freshwater setups and anchors the biological filter in reef and marine systems.
