This is Charlotte Pipe Schedule 40 white PVC pressure pipe — rigid plastic pipe rated for pressurized cold-water systems. It is the standard pipe for potable supply, irrigation mains, pool and spa plumbing, and general water lines, cut to length and solvent-welded to Schedule 40 fittings.
Schedule 40 wall thickness gives it strength for pressure service, and it resists corrosion and scale where metal pipe would degrade. It joins with PVC primer and cement to the full range of Schedule 40 fittings.
