The DMT DMTD10CX Dia-Sharp Bench Stone carries a coarse and extra-coarse 325 over 220 grit diamond-coated surface across a 10×4 inch working face. DMT bonds industrial monocrystalline diamond directly to a precision-ground steel plate — no oil or water is required, and the plate stays flat for the life of the tool. The coarse and extra-coarse 325 over 220 grit removes metal predictably without dishing or hollowing the way bonded-abrasive stones do as they wear.
