The 22-oz head adds 6 ounces of mass over the 16-oz E3-16C — enough to drive 16d framing nails in two strikes and pull nails that the lighter hammer can’t budge. Indestructible single-piece construction.

The framer’s hammer. Used for stick-built construction, demolition work, deck building, and anything where the lighter 16-oz needs more help than it can give. Pairs with the 16-oz for a two-hammer kit; the 22-oz for serious work, the 16-oz for finish.
