The Estwing RSC Pro-Claw Pry Bar is a 16-inch 3-in-1 roofing, siding, and construction bar. One end is a thin pry blade with a 2-1/2 inch fulcrum for lifting; the other is a nail puller for pulling spikes and bent fasteners. Forged in one piece from solid American steel.
The taller 2-1/2 inch fulcrum is the design detail roofers and siders care about — a standard cat’s paw or flat bar lifts an inch and then runs out of geometry, while the Pro-Claw keeps lifting well past the point where competing bars stall. That matters when the job is stripping 3-tab shingles, prying off aluminum downspouts, or pulling painted-in vinyl siding — the lift has to clear the fastener and give the other hand room to peel the material. The thin pry blade slides under the edge of shingles and flashing without damaging the substrate. The nail-puller hook extracts the spikes and deck nails that a hammer claw can’t grab. One-piece forging removes the head-to-handle failure mode entirely; the RSC is a single bar of forged tool steel, no joints to spring or separate.
Aimed at roofers, siding installers, framing contractors, remodelers, and demolition crews. A core tool in any tear-off rig.
Estwing has forged tools in Rockford, Illinois since 1923 using American steel. The RSC is declared Made in the USA on the Amazon listing.
