The shell is Filson’s signature Tin Cloth — oil-finish cotton canvas that resists water, scuffs, and stains the way only properly oiled fabric does. Bridle leather handles, solid brass zipper pulls and hardware, and reinforced corners where airline conveyor belts inevitably abuse a bag.
This is the weekend duffle for someone who packs a long weekend’s worth of clothes, can carry it onto a plane, and won’t replace it for thirty years. People also use it as a travel kit for fly-fishing weekends, hunting trips, and bike-rally road trips — anywhere a hard suitcase would feel out of place.
Filson has been hand-cutting and sewing canvas goods in Seattle, Washington since 1897. The Tin Cloth duffle is part of their Made-in-USA heritage line.
