SureFire is a tactical illumination tools manufacturer based in Fountain Valley, California. The company designs and builds high-output LED flashlights, weapon-mounted lights, and suppressors for military, law enforcement, and civilian users who need dependable light output in life-safety situations. Every flashlight is machined from aerospace-grade aluminum, sealed against dust and water, and tested to survive drop, shock, and heat cycles that would kill a typical consumer light.
The G2X LE is a 400-lumen flashlight built to SureFire’s law enforcement spec — a two-stage tail-cap switch gives a low 15-lumen setting for reading maps and reports, plus a high 400-lumen setting for suspect identification and low-light work. The Nitrolon body handles harsh duty use, and the precision reflector produces a tight center beam with wide peripheral spill. Runs on two 123A lithium batteries with a runtime measured in hours on high.
SureFire, LLC was founded by Dr. John Matthews in 1979 and built its reputation on illumination tools used by U.S. military special operations and federal law enforcement. Every SureFire light is designed, machined, and assembled at the company’s Fountain Valley, California headquarters. The brand is one of the few remaining American flashlight makers still running full domestic manufacturing — from raw billet to packaged product.
