This is the Gitman Vintage Indigo Denim Shirt, made from real indigo-dyed cotton denim rather than a printed lookalike, so it breaks in and lightens over time into a personal patina. The mid-weight cloth has enough body to wear like a light shirt-jacket while staying soft against the skin.
It goes over a tee as a layer, tucks in with trousers, or works on its own with jeans in a tonal double-denim look. The more it is worn and washed, the better it gets.
Gitman Vintage shirts are cut and sewn in Ashland, Pennsylvania, where the Gitman family has been making American dress and sport shirts since 1978.
