The Granberg G778-24 Alaskan MKIV is the 24-inch capacity portable chainsaw mill in the brand’s MKIV series — the right size for most consumer-grade chainsaws (16-24 inch bars) and home shop hobbyists processing felled trees. The 24-inch capacity covers the most common American chainsaw bar size class.
It suits home woodworkers, hobbyist mill operators, and arborists with smaller saws who want to convert felled trees into usable slabs or rough lumber on-site. The all-aluminum jig is lighter than the 36-inch version, making it easier to transport and operate solo.
Granberg has manufactured chainsaw mills in Richmond, California since 1955 — the original Alaskan mill brand and industry standard.
