This is the Green Toys Jump Rope — a kid-sized skipping rope with chunky green handles molded from recycled HDPE and a smooth braided rope in the middle. The handles are sized for small hands to grip, weighted enough to swing the rope in a clean arc, and spin freely on their connection point so the rope doesn’t twist up on every jump.
The rope length is the standard kids’ length — right for a 5-to-10-year-old to jump solo, and easy to shorten by double-wrapping around a smaller kid’s hands. A basic, classic outdoor toy made the right way: no batteries, no screens, no small parts that can break off, and built sturdy enough to survive being dragged across concrete playgrounds.
Green Toys is made in California from 100% recycled milk jugs and other food-grade HDPE plastic. The company was founded in Mill Valley in 2007 on the idea that kids’ toys could be manufactured domestically from recycled American material — no BPA, no PVC, no phthalates, no external coatings. Every toy is dishwasher-safe and shipped in recycled, recyclable packaging printed with soy-based inks.
