Cut from full-grain American steerhide tanned at Wickett & Craig — the kind of leather that ages into a deeper, richer color over a few years of pocket carry instead of cracking. Six card slots, two slip pockets, a full-length bill section, and edges that are hand-burnished and beeswaxed for a finished look that lasts. Stitched with bonded nylon thread that won’t rot or unravel.
Bifolds in this build category usually run from a small workshop, not a factory. Holtz keeps every step in-house — cut, stitch, edge, finish — which is why their wallets show up in 10-year wear photos with all six card slots still snug and the leather looking better than it did at year one.
Holtz Leather is hand-assembled in Huntsville, Alabama since 2012.
