The John Boos Chop-N-Slice 20 × 15-inch maple cutting board is a 1.25-inch thick reversible edge-grain board with eased corners — large surface area at a price point below the R-Board.
John Boos has manufactured maple cutting boards in Effingham, Illinois since 1887. The Chop-N-Slice line uses slightly thinner stock than the R-Board (1.25 vs 1.5 inch) for a lighter board at a lower price.
Use the Chop-N-Slice 20×15 for large prep volume on a budget, family kitchens, and home cooks upgrading from cheap plastic to American maple. The eased corners prevent dings against cabinets.
