This is Fiesta’s Luncheon Bowl Plate in Turquoise — a 9-inch diameter with a low bowl profile, in the classic aqua-blue Turquoise glaze. The shape sits between a dinner plate and a soup bowl: it has enough depth to hold a side of sauce or a portion of pasta without running off, but it’s shallow enough to eat off comfortably with a fork.
It works as a lunch plate for one, a smaller dinner option on nights the full 10.5-inch feels oversized, or a salad-and-something plate for kids or lighter eaters. Turquoise is one of Fiesta’s oldest colors and has been in continuous production for most of the brand’s history. Dishwasher, microwave, and oven-safe to 500°F.
Fiesta has been making this dinnerware at its factory in Newell, West Virginia since 1936 — one of the longest-running domestic pottery operations in the country. Every piece is cast, fired, and glazed at that Newell plant, which is why the colors stay consistent from one collection to the next.
