The Darn Tough Men’s Hojo Over-the-Calf Cushion Sock (Style 1843) is an over-the-calf hunting sock built for cold conditions where a high shaft matters. The full-length sock climbs over the calf, keeping snow, leaves, and debris out of the boot top and adding warmth up the leg. Mid-level cushion density runs along the footbed, and the True Seamless toe closes the front of the sock smoothly.
The knit uses 79% Merino Wool, 19% Nylon, and 2% Lycra Spandex. This is one of the heaviest merino concentrations in Darn Tough’s line — the wool handles moisture wicking, temperature regulation, and odor control, while the smaller nylon and spandex percentages keep the shape and add just enough stretch for an over-the-calf fit that doesn’t slip. The Forest color works with most camo patterns and field wear.
Darn Tough knits every pair in Northfield, Vermont and replaces any sock that wears, tears, or develops holes under its lifetime guarantee.
