The Harvest 320 is Musgrave’s classic yellow pencil — incense-cedar wood casing, hexagonal cross-section so it stays put on a desk, and a #1 graphite core that lays down a darker line than the standard #2 most schools default to. The eraser at the top is a real eraser, not the chalky plug you find on cheap imports.
Soft #1 lead is what teachers, sketchers, kids in art class, and anyone who writes for an hour at a stretch reach for. Lighter pressure, less hand fatigue, darker lines. Twelve in a pack covers a desk drawer for a school year.
Musgrave Pencil Company has been making pencils in Shelbyville, Tennessee since 1916 — one of the last wood-pencil mills still operating in the United States.
