The NameTrains Rainbow Engine is a single wooden engine turned from North American hardwood, sized to head up a NameTrain set. Magnetic couplers on the front and back let it pull letter cars, accent cars, and a caboose in any order.
It serves as the starting point for building or extending a personalized name train, and it rolls smoothly on NameTrain track or a tabletop. The simple, sturdy shape stands up to everyday play and pairs with the broader NameTrain collection.
Maple Landmark has made wooden toys in Middlebury, Vermont since 1979, cutting and finishing every piece from North American hardwood in its own shop.
