I am very proud that these pieces were Made in USA for Blade+Blue.
Each sweatshirt is constructed from a 7.5 oz, rich cotton/poly/rayon blended knit fabric.
The fabric definitely has some body to it which makes for a flattering fit and a more polished look.
The plush, textured character of the fabric kicks the level of style up a few notches too.
I chose to cut style this style with a raglan sleeve because the fabric will hug your shoulders perfectly – it is a really flattering fit.
To me, these sweatshirts are a great, casual alternative to a sweater.
They look great with everything!
Below is some information from a few years back regarding the development of my fleece items 🙂
During the pandemic, I gave myself a little project……If I am going to be here, how can I make myself comfortable without looking like and feeling like a complete lazy bones?
I needed a Blade+Blue version of these ugly sweatshirts & sweatpants that were taking up way too much space in my tiny closet.
So here we are and I am SO EXCITED to see this idea come to life. Not even the pandemic could stop this from happening!
I would also like to say that it was a very rewarding experience to meet and work with people who were in the same boat as I was… we were up against the ropes and we had to box our way out of this mess.
Check out the images and you’ll see that the models are dressed casually (tee & jogger) or more put together with a button down & fleece top). Either way, they look great 🙂
