The Ontario Rat-3 is the compact entry in Ontario’s Rat fixed-blade series — 3.5-inch 1095 carbon steel blade, full-tang construction, Micarta handle scales, sized for hunting, bushcraft, and serious EDC use. 1095 carbon steel takes a razor edge and resharpens easily in the field with a basic stone.
Full-tang construction means the blade and handle are one continuous piece of steel for maximum strength under batoning, prying, and hard chopping. Included nylon sheath with belt loop carries the knife at standard hunting belt height. Made by Ontario in Franklinville, NY since 1889.
