The POLYWOOD Kids Adirondack Chair is a proportional scale-down of POLYWOOD’s adult adirondack — same wide flat arms, same slatted back, same deep seat — sized for kids ages 2 through 7. The shape lets a child sit the way grown-ups sit on the porch, with arms wide enough to hold a juice cup and a coloring book.
The HDPE construction is light enough for a child to drag around the yard but heavy enough not to tip in wind. Stainless steel hardware resists corrosion, and the entire chair wipes clean of dirt, juice spills, and sidewalk chalk with a wet cloth. Weatherproof through full sun, rain, and winter freeze with no cover needed.
POLYWOOD has been making outdoor furniture in Syracuse, Indiana since 1990 from 90%+ post-consumer recycled HDPE — milk jugs and bottle caps that would otherwise reach a landfill. Every chair, table, and rocker is built to weather salt air, freezing winters, and direct sun without fading, splintering, or rotting, and carries a 20-year residential warranty.
