Three 4-foot-square beds in 3/4-inch North American cedar, 7 inches deep, each assembling on dovetailed corner posts without tools.
Three is the number that makes classic rotation work: roots in one, legumes in the next, leaf crops in the third, each shifting along a bed every year so nothing follows itself. Four-foot squares stay reachable from every side, and three of them lay out neatly in a row or an L.
Greenes Fence has been building cedar garden structures in Ohio since 1947, working with North American timber.
