This is the Green Toys Submarine — a bright yellow-and-blue bathtub submarine with a periscope on top and a conning tower that scoops up water and pours it back out. The sub floats high enough to push across the water without tipping over, and the front nose is weighted so it dips when pushed down for diving play.
The chunky shape is sized for toddler hands — no small pieces to break off, no corners to scratch a bathtub, no batteries or electronics to fail when it gets wet. Dishwasher-safe on the top rack, and the recycled HDPE body holds up to years of bath-time use without fading or cracking. Pairs with the Tugboat, Ferry Boat, and Seaplane for combined water play.
Green Toys is made in California from 100% recycled milk jugs and other food-grade HDPE plastic. The company was founded in Mill Valley in 2007 on the idea that kids’ toys could be manufactured domestically from recycled American material — no BPA, no PVC, no phthalates, no external coatings. Every toy is dishwasher-safe and shipped in recycled, recyclable packaging printed with soy-based inks.
