This is the Rite in the Rain No. 773, a 4.625 x 7 inch side-spiral notebook with 64 pages of all-weather paper in the Universal pattern under a black field-flex cover. The Wire-O binding resists crushing and the coated pages shed water instead of absorbing it.
It takes field notes, jobsite measurements, and trail logs in conditions that destroy ordinary paper, and the side-spiral format lays flat for two-page spreads. Pencil or all-weather pen keeps writing through the wet.
