The Mister Lou is a 10-inch pull-on engineer boot cut from durable black horsehide, with a narrow shaft, a snug heel cup, and a single top strap for a trim silhouette. A Vibram lug outsole adds traction, and the stitched construction is made to be resoled over years of wear.
It works as a rugged everyday boot and a riding boot, sliding on without laces and breaking in to the shape of the foot. The horsehide upper toughens and patinas with age.
Wesco, the West Coast Shoe Company, has handmade leather boots in Scappoose, Oregon since 1918, building each pair to order in its own factory.
